You can use the module with a permanent switch if you wire the yellow cable to ground. The module works with a push button if the yellow cable is not connected. By the way, you can switch off the headlight in the button mode when you press the button for more than 2 seconds. A further press on the button switch on the headlight again..
The low beam is immediately on after switching on the ignition if the brown cable is unconnected. The low beam is off after switching on the ignition and it switches on after a button press if the thin brown cable is wired to ground.
The low beam switches off when you change to high beam if the green cable is not connected or the low beam stay on if the green cable is wired to ground.
